What in the shadow of Mt. Timpanogos?

Happy Valley Crafters is a group of sassy ladies (and potentially some guys) whose personalities and ideals diverge from the “normal” ones found in Utah County. That means we’re vaguely liberal feminists who probably drink, swear, and create “art” and other crafty things that could offend typical Utahns. We also appreciate and create the adorable, ironic, and subversive. We strive to bring a much-needed alternative vibe to the heart of “Happy Valley” by way of arts and crafts.

Not all of us drink, swear, or do other verboten-to-the-Mormons stuff. In fact, some of us are still Mormons who just want Utah to be a more hospitable place to live for people who deviate from the current (and may we say suffocating) norm. Though happyvalleycrafters.com will not censor language or opinions of its users and contributors, we will give you fair warning if an image you are about to see may be obscene.

If you fit this description, or are yourself unable to be defined within the confines of typical Utah Valley culture, then you might find the stuff we post here interesting. Hell, we’d love to meet you and maybe even hang out!

We’re working on site development right now and making glorious to-do lists. It’ll be grand! Check back again toward the end of August to see how the magic is progressing. Thanks!

About Dame Toadstool

From her humble Midwestern beginnings, Dame Toadstool has developed into a lady of fine taste (as long as you are flexible with the definition of "fine"). She enjoys sarcasm, knitting, subversive cross-stitching, and will never stop using the Oxford comma.
